Project Outline

The Finance & Risk Global Transformation Programme (FiRST) is a multi-million pound IT financial systems integration project. Its business goal is to establish a unique “golden source” of banking data information.
The role

I was engaged to assist the Planning and Finance Teams in Central PMO managing the technical delivery of the project. My role was to develop and enhance an Access database tool. The system was a replacement for multiple Excel spreadsheets and was used for cost tracking, resources management, RAID management, and automatic generation of milestone reports at levels 0 and 1.

Once the system was fully deployed, and the PMO functions were outsourced to an overseas third-party, my role transitioned to training and support, with overall responsibility for first line support and the writing of user guides and system documentation.
